Hiya, my name is Gavyn. I’m about a year old and prolly one of the coolest Aussies you’ll ever meet. I love to play and love chewing on bones and rawhides even more. I have also become quite fond of sleeping with my new Mom and Dad in the Big Bed. I love playing outside with my new brothers and sisters. I can run like the wind. I also like getting a bath. The warm water feels so good. I also get to ride in Mom’s van to go awesome places and get spoiled by everyone I meet.

 

My life wasn’t always this great though. I don’t like to talk about the time before Fur Angels saved me. My owner was a backyard breeder that was only interested in making money off breeding guys like me. They didn’t care that breeding merle to merle was the reason I was deaf and had eye problems. They only wanted merle puppies with more white. They were even breeding the ones that were deaf! One day, my life was turned upside down. Cody and I were taken to a very scary place with lots of other dogs that were terrified like us. It was so cold and there was chain link everywhere. We had no idea why this was happening. What did we do wrong?

 

My new Mom got an email that me and Cody were going to be gassed. Just because we are deaf! She was not about to let that happen. I now have a great new life and am looking for the perfect Forever Family that will love me for who I am, not judge me for what I cannot do. I’m really smart and probably learn things a lot quicker than dogs that can hear if you can take the time to teach me things if a different way. So what do ya say, wanna give me a chance?
