Poncho Villa

Poncho has lived his whole life in a puppy mill. When they decided to stop producing puppies, they took all their dogs out to the county and just let them go. He is one of the few lucky ones that survived. He’s very shy and he’s very afraid of being touched. He will cower in the back of his crate if you go to remove him for a potty break or even some lovins.

We are working on showing him what a loving home is and that he doesn’t have to be afraid anymore. He will need a lot of work in that department, but he is showing signs of happiness. He started wagging his tail and giving fingertip kisses after 3 days in Foster Care. It will take time, but he deserves it after what he has been through. He is not housebroken as he never learned anything about potty training during his time at the mill. He does well in a crate and loves to be outside. I’m sure it may very well be the first time in his life he got to run free on actual grass and dirt.

He will be available after 4/11/09
